About Fabulous Flower Power
Hi, welcome to the world of floromancy and to Fabulous Flower Power™.
I’m Susan Hunter, and Fabulous Flower Power™ is the result of my lifelong passion for flowers and nature. Like many of you, as a child I loved creating daisy chains, making wishes on a dandelion, and creating scented water from petals. I have always needed to be surrounded by the energy of flowers and I am lucky enough to have a constant supply across my island home on the Isle of Cumbrae, Scotland and beyond. Creating this small business has been a dream of mine for many years, and supporting the British Beekeepers Association through Fabulous Flower Power™ makes sure the importance of flowers in our emotional lives is truly embraced, in turn helping our planet.
Whilst living and working in The Netherlands, surrounded by stunning flower fields and with access to wonderful flower markets, I made the decision to create my flower-inspired business after a truly life-changing experience in 2002.
After a career in Human Development where I dedicated over 40 years to the emotional development of my clients and colleagues, I returned to my Scottish island spiritual home, here I was guided to ‘channel’ messages. Often these messages were connected with what was happening within nature, but sometimes it was a message for me, about my life. Friends became interested and I felt compelled to gift Floral Readings where channeled messages focused on friends’ lives followed by the image of a flower. I was intrigued as to why a particular flower was sometimes ‘channeled’ to me. So, I began to research flower meanings. In doing so, I came upon the art of floromancy, in which certain flowers had specific symbolic associations. And my world just expanded in that moment! I will always remember the first flower which ‘came through’ to me for someone – a yellow rose, which completely correlated with the message I had received for the person for whom I was channelling. From this, I then created Floral Prescriptions – an abbreviated version of a message, that also incorporates elements of Feng Shui, crystals, flower essences and meditations to enhance our emotional lives. The next addition to my offerings came with the creation of my Floral Divining Cards. This very special project involved four years of research, bringing together botanically-painted flower images accompanied not only by their symbolic meaning, but also with divinely connected messages. These now form the foundations of Fabulous Flower Power™.
Having lived and worked in some beautiful places around the world, my island home is the perfect place to inspire my floral offerings, providing me with the right ambience to enjoy my passion for Fabulous Flower Power™, surrounded by the beauty of nature on both land and sea.
